What are Run 4 U and Perform training plans and how are they different to all the others out there?

First of all, Run 4 U and Perform training plans put the person at the centre of all the training sessions, from the weekly mileage calculations, the short term and long term goals to all of the advice offered. We make sure that at no point the athlete feels overwhelmed by giving daily and weekly feedback and continued support through session adjustments and tailored structure.

We recognise external commitments and work around those, so you still feel you are working hard to achieve individual goals and progressions. We make sure you are aware of all the goals and understand why sessions have been put in there. I am a true believer that if you know why you’re doing something you are more likely to do it and do it well.

Run 4 U and Perform gives feedback that not only motivates and encourages, but it is also purposeful and calculated to help you achieve all that you can. Run 4 U and Perform athletes have regular opportunity to talk through their training, how it is going, concerns or otherwise so it is always a negotiable plan.

What sets Run 4 U and Perform above the crowd is the Physiotherapists eye, coaching and performance knowledge and teacher instincts. The one to one session in particular and also the conversations had allow us to form an idea of potential ways to maximise your running efficiency and areas to work on for development. Sessions can then be even more purposeful with recommendations for postural adjustments and small changes in technique to practise.

Furthermore, with sound knowledge of strength and conditioning, weight training, plyometric and running drills you can form a better foundation to become a stronger runner with less risks of injury.

There are many plans out there on the internet, but one size does not fit all! Run 4 U and Perform training plans are specific to the individual and progress towards their goals and measured which results in weekly increases that are safe and adjustable.
