January Running Challenge

Want to be more accountable, want to add some variety and reach a meaningful goal during the tough, hard month on January. Well, Run 4 U and Perform coaching can set up some specific challenges to boost motivation this month.

Choose from a variety of challenges and we set up the training using the online training software of final surge. Training will be safe and specific to you to get you to your desired outcome.

Challenges available this month are:

  • RED January – Run Every Day but with variety and progress measures. Being able to adapt and vary your training is key to a fun and successful month of running everyday.
  • Run X distance this month – choose from 100, 200, 300 or 400k to tot up this month. As long as your current mileage is consistent we can decide the right VOLUME goal for you to achieve this month.
  • 5k PB at the end of the month – training can be progressed and tailored to get you in PB shape at the end of January to tackle a park run or 5k race.

To achieve these above challenges Run 4 U and Perform is offering tailored training for the month of January. Plans commence on 1st of January and run you through your goal until the 31st January. Plans provide structure and specific training to meet the demands of your goal and your current training profile. Plans are delivered on an online training app called Final Surge in which you will receive all the features available. Final surge is compatible with most devices and as such workouts can be synced to your watch for instant runability. If enough background is provided, workouts can involve pace targets and / or HR targets to get the most out of your sessions. Communication and support is available daily through the app and all sessions provide rationale and coaching expertise.

If you wish to proceed, the cost of the January Running Challenges of your choice will be £42 in line with current monthly Run 4 U training plans with no commitment beyond December necessary.
