7 weeks ago I was getting back into running but with no structure to my training and nothing to aim for. I messaged Abbey at Run 4 U and Perform run coaching to help me improve my 5k time. She got back to me on the same day with a detailed plan with Easy, Tempo and Longer runs, with Hills, Fartleks, and Yassos (…no nor me!) thrown in. All were clearly explained with a guide for pace and as I worked through the plan, I began to realise the importance of every run – complemented with core work and stretching too.
I’m currently running my best 5k times since 2017 (23 mins) and am well equipped with how to make further gains! Abbey is so supportive and I have learnt a lot from the experience!!
